  1. What a precious wonderful video you put together and you'll always have your grandmother's voice recorded about her life as a child. Wow, great job on remembering to hit record. Memories to keep forever. The photos made this video even better. Don't be mad granny, this is so special for your family. Thanks for sharing with us !!

  2. So many of these types of conversations I had with my Grandma. At age 70 I can't tell you how much I wish I could have recordings of them. I pray Nana won't be upset with you. This is a legacy she is leaving. God bless you both.

  3. Wish my granny was still here with us would love to hear how my great granny cooked and baked stuff
Number 1 recipe I wish I had from my great granny is her butter horns I can’t find a recipe that tastes like her

  4. This is amazing and has touched my heart. I could stand and listen to her stories all day. These are moments you cherish for the rest of your life. You have an amazing nana.

  5. Ty ty ty loved nanas recording. What a treasure these older folks are. Too many are gone but hopefully the good memories are still alive.
God bless you . Ty for sharing:)

  6. I am looking after my 90 year young mother. We get into those porch/dinner table conversations pretty regular. Sometimes when shelling peas or beans you know it’s coming when, “ back in the day” is the starting line. You know we are the lucky ones getting to hear all those stories, and all the teachings from there life.

  7. Hey Y'all, When we was young we loved the heck outta Spam. Fried spam sandwiches, spam and eggs, scalloped potatoes and spam. Hawaii is the #1 consumer of spam. Y'all love your family mend a fence send a Christmas card make one extra phone call. take care bye for now

  8. Beautiful … thats what life is, memories; sometimes bad, but mostly good. Lots to learn from that moment. Sure wish I had recorded a lot of conversations before it was too late. But I still have many memories to hang onto. Loved this ❤

  9. Thank you for sharing your precious nana with us. What a blessing. I remember my mom and Gramma talking about the old days and the hard times. I learned a lot from those stories. I would love to hear more.
