So many of these types of conversations I had with my Grandma. At age 70 I can't tell you how much I wish I could have recordings of them. I pray Nana won't be upset with you. This is a legacy she is leaving. God bless you both.

I am looking after my 90 year young mother. We get into those porch/dinner table conversations pretty regular. Sometimes when shelling peas or beans you know it’s coming when, “ back in the day” is the starting line. You know we are the lucky ones getting to hear all those stories, and all the teachings from there life.

Beautiful … thats what life is, memories; sometimes bad, but mostly good. Lots to learn from that moment. Sure wish I had recorded a lot of conversations before it was too late. But I still have many memories to hang onto. Loved this ❤
