Oh on the mastitis I used Witch hazel to clean and dip before the final tit dip
The witch hazel helps with the swelling etc too
How much land do y'all have?
Having had horned goats….and having one now… I will forever disbud. I'm not. A big shower but it helps so much with the quality homes when I sell.
I know folks who live their horns so to each their own.
I am so glad I found your channel just love you and the family thank you. God Bless
I love the vlogs and I do learn here and there from what you show! like the chicken water nipples. Do you have a link for that?
Can you grow kale, cabbage and rote vegetables in your hot climate? I haven't seen anything of that. You once mentioned you can't grow union.
only just started watching your vlogs, i love where you live hard work but rewarding. its nice to see all the family involved. what a great life you must have, i love gardening but only have a small back garden but make the most of it. all the best from yorkshire Englandxx
Awe, I have a Toby too! He is 4yr. I am still enjoying the vlogs, we are hoping to get goats soon. I will be checking out your mozzarella cheese videos again for sure.
Hi Jess, I'm new to your channel and i just wanted to say how glad i am that i found it here on You Tube. I don't have a farm or a large garden but it's very calming and relaxing to watch video's about this for me.So even when you think you don't have something to teach or show just know that going about life's everyday chores on your homestead is wonderful to some of us. Thanks for sharing.
Yes love hanging out with you…blessings flow on, in, and through you all always for His glory in Christ Yeshua. You are loved!!!
Really
2 strands of polywire will keep the pig in as long as it is hot. An a/c energizer is cheap, easy and reliable. I already had an outdoor extension cord. Solar energizers are ok but you need to make sure it is still hot as the batteries fade.
I’m loving the goats, you should show the goats in every vlog!!
Hey mom, its Maliah, I am finally starting too watch the videos on my laptop. I think I was in Vegas when you filmed this one. I remember when Toby came and showed me when he got back and he sounded cuter than Ezra . Have fun in "cali"
Yes, Justin Rhodes uses his pigs to clear pasture land then followed by chickens to clear.
Sophia the dog is too hot. Her coat is so thick. Would you shave her underbelly?
Yes water for chicken looks dirty. Always learning new ways.
I love the everyday antics, especially the goats, pig, dog, cat, and chicken.
How precious is your son! I love the goats and would like have some but working full time would not give me the time they need. BTW, that red is a good color on you and the scarf as a headband looks great. As always, thanks for sharing.
We lived in a city years ago on a smallholding, but did not a garden or farm (my pre-garden days) but had a delightful Potbelly pig called "Pudding" and oh, could she dig up everything!! She was sort of free range but after my husband passed away we moved into a suburb house again and Pudding were gifted to a family on a small farm who wanted to breed with her. Last connection we had is my daughter drove there to have a look at her first litter and they were adorable. I would probably never live on a farm, but do what I can in my Townhouse garden and one can do plenty!
How do yall like the bucket with the nipples for the chickens? I love mine!
Justin Rhodes does the tilling with pigs
I love you put the date on your vlog. It helps to be able to finish some of the story, how the young sick goats fared after the antibiotic treatment. Thank you for being thoughtful and inspiring.
Love watching all of your videos!
Your boys are adorable. I do look for Ben though because he reminds me so much of my one grandson, coloring, expressions and comments.
The little things are so worth watching. Since you all are so busy packing, I have decided to get my Roots and Refuge fix on by watching all your old videos. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this transition. ❤️
