My first year using fire ring-4!! It's beautiful, practical, and perfect for my small garden. And it's amazing how much I can actually plant on this!
I love the raised rings. Great idea Luke
I love the way the galvanize steel looks I love how you can clean it and I love how it doesn’t rust keep growing grow big or go home LOL
I also made the galvanize steel roofing panel raise beds they are awesome don’t worry about what everybody else says do whats makes you happy because in the long run that’s what matters (you) God bless you

☺love them-long lasting
Can you post a link for the round beds so I can order some. Thank you sir. Great video, have a blessed Thanksgiving with your family and friends.
Self sufficient me in Australia has the real big galvanized rings. It's good for ppl, because there's no weeding. Looks good.
The big ones are waist high with no bending over.
Hi! I'm a new follower and also just ordered seeds! I'm a beginning gardener and had thought about using fire rings plus a couple of 4×4 Raised beds. I looked up using using fire rings and your video popped up. My question is, can I plant vegetables in the fire rings? If so what would do well in those? Thanks
I love it. Was thinking about using galvanize in my garden and I see you doing it.
They look fabulous! Never apologize for what you like!
Glad I found this video. I just purchased a fire ring at Menard's for a raised garden bed.
I think these actually look really cool and I would like to try it myself. I like that they sit up higher from the ground. I wonder if they are stackable? If so, it could be a great option for a gardener with mobility challenges or someone who just doesn’t want to kneel on the ground so much.
They’re only (bad) if you try to actually use them to burn in. The fumes can kill you. Otherwise growing in these is just fine

They throw away dryers in my apartment complex all the time…. and for some reason the inner drum is commonly out sitting Next to the machine…. I took one and it makes a perfect raised be (with drainage holes!) I’m not sure how hard or easy it is to take out the drum your self but it’s an idea and also there are also probably places that have all the washers getting thrown away I don’t know where but my apartment complex is one place LOL
Goodness gracious! Some people are ridiculous. I’ve actually pestering my better half to buy me these because I thought they looked so fantastic! Thank you so much for your amazing content. I order seeds from you every year and will continue to do so!
Perfect idea for my needs and preferences! Thank you!!!
I’m thinking of buying some of these just to get started this season because lumber is more expensive, I just bought my house so I don’t have time to build, spring is practically here so it’s time to plant NOW so while I want to build other beds next year I need to gets some veggies growing right away and these are really affordable.
These would be GREAT for zucchini 🙂
I've read about the metal raised beds, an my concern was I read that the ph if you put sulfur to lower the ph for an acid loving plant could produce extra zinc in you plants. But with further research, one season of that wouldn't cause much of a problem, with compost put in the bed the ph will become non acidic, an neutral. So i've changed my mind on the metal beds, an think I will also get some.
If folks don’t like the industrious look of the fire ring, you can always place some natural rocks around the base, we did this for a very natural and pleasing looking fire pit. I love using these fire rings for raised beds for easily spreading herbs like mint and corner flower gardens!
I love the way they look
