  1. Patara, grass and weeds for us folks who live in the country is an okay thing! I understand that folks who live in the city may have to keep their yards and area clean of high grass and weeds! But that is why I live in the country!
    OAG

  2. Carrots are my demons. I have had little luck with carrots let alone seed saving, chuckle! If someone could help me sove this huge issue because carrots are a big part of our diet. Another great video!

  3. These are some of my favorite videos that you do. You are so right about how things unfold. I started with chickens, then started raising mealworms, and I also have a worm composting bin. Next is black soldier fly larvae. Take care my friend. Blessings and Hugs from Texas

  4. I'm new to your channel and appreciate your candor and your realness on how hard it is to homestead. My family and I are looking to start a homestead and you have made us rethink some of or grand ideas and focus on reality. Thank you for that! I wanted to know how many acres is your homestead?

  5. Love My Weeds <3 We Have a Hoorse, and 20 chickens , and 5 Khaki Campbells ..( Thanks To You) They are the Sweetest ) We Hav Manure Coming out Our Ears Too LOL !

  6. Hi I sure would lvd to know where you bought your colored egg layers. Please let me know I want to buy some…. My grandmother is the person who did the cross breeding to get theses colors. She gave her hens to the college to continue the breed. I have bought a few but the colors are very dull My grandmother had the very bright and multi colored eggs. Thank you

  7. i had bought my first set of meat rabbits from john a few years ago they are my sweet hearts and i had bought a few others from a local person then johns room mate came across some red newzelands for me i love all my rabbits im up to 8 now going to sale my last rex and just going with meat's

  8. Example of finding out what you like. My boys are allergic to quail meat. Luckily we never started raising quail!
And I love our meat rabbits! Super easy to raise, super easy to butcher and it tastes like chicken!

  9. I'm growing Marconi Peppers and tomatoes and I love rabbit and chicken meat. Also, with chickens I get eggs and a natural dirt toiler. Ha

  10. Patara, did you ever have a container garden? I'm in an apartment and all the back toe don methods just don't translate when you're working with pots. Did you start with containers? If you did, could you do a video on container gardening?
    Thanks! 😀
