  1. Nice tractor. I have the Kubota Grand L3560HSTC. I was debating between L3301 and L3901, but my wife was with me and she decided I need the L3560 with the cab. I'm glad she did, it has been nice this summer mowing and having the air conditioning.

    Enjoy your new equipment.

  2. I have a B2630, 20013 model, The FACTORY battery died last winter. Let me repeat that… the STOCK BATTERY, just died. Infact I still use it. It just couldn't start the tractor when it was cold.

  3. Retired. Make small amounts of compost. Neighbors bring grass clippings, leaves, horse manure all year. Work in morning after coffee, before the heat. Compost price is good so it goes fast, sell by bucket load, 3 scopes a yard. I do it to stay active. High maintenance on old tractor I bought 16 years ago new 2004 New Holland TC33DA. Got quote on Kubota L3901 equipped hydraulic tip/tilt, 3 remotes and third function. They are 3 extra leavers next to your position control, right side of seat 4 levers. The loader control has two buttons to control Aux hydraulic at front of tractor. Need third remote for rotating rear blade, then I use grapple to mix leaves, grass, manure, that's the third function valve. Had a stroke so trying to making things easy. BUT let me tell you a mini excavator K008-3 with 3 hours on her, I'm real busy with controls, lots of fun running that one.

  4. I bought the same tractor – mine is a few months older and I ordered it gear driven (not HST) by choice. Love it. It does everything I ask of it with absolutely no problems. My older tractors were doing the same thing as yours and were becoming undependable in snow removal. Nice video!

  5. Very good video review. It was interesting to see the changes made since the l3800 which I have. Some improvements, some not so good. But change is inevitable we all know.

  6. The DPF catches soot (particulate matter). The gases pass right out. After it catches enough it gets very hot and this converts the PM back into carbon and other elements (regeneration). A catalytic converter does not filter at all, it allows NOx to be converted back to nitrogen and oxygen. It doesn't require regeneration. The DPF helps greatly reduce the amount of particles that end up in your nasal passages and lungs. Thanks for the video. Can't wait to pick up a 3901.

  7. Congratulations on your purchase. I am thinking of the same tractor. Are you glad you went with the HST or would you of rather had the gear driven one? Overall, are you still happy with your tractor?

  8. Dumb thing! My tractor is the same way, too.. Having the treadle peddle AND the dual brakes both on the same side means it's very hard to use the dual brakes for steering when moving. I keep saying I'm going to use a stick on the brakes when floating the bucket in the snow, but never actually get around to doing it. Floating bucket prevents front wheels from steering, and you need the side brakes to steer..
