I noticed quite a few leaves had small holes and obviously you have different sized leaves. Is it possible to let us know whether you take the one's with holes in them out or are chef's fine with this and are they cool with different sized one's too?… thanks. Oh I am growing spinach too and finding it a long time to sort through it… cheers
do the leaves get a different texture with each cutting?
You make those beats Curtis? Im from a hiphop group in California, work/worked with a ton of wu-tang related artists… http://www.knowthenames.com
that was some amazing-looking spinach
Gotta get down and dirty sometimes.
It looks like you need a good back… why not squat down in the pathways? That is how I hand harvest. Much less lower back pain at the end of the day.
Curtis. Can you tell us about your bike and trailer? In case, some might want to bike too! Thanks.
Good question for you. How can you predict the amount of a crop you will harvest off a bed, Without actually having tested it over years of course. How do you know how much one lettuce plant will yield in pounds. I want a best case scenario kinda equation. I have your book but never came across this
Hi did you ever hear about http://www.backtoedenfilm.com? Is a great documentary on how to plant and get excellent resorts with less and less effort as time goes buy and getting better harvest as well. Thank you God bless your heart
Excellent update. How long does it take the spinach to grow back? I understand it's getting late in the year but normally once a week? Once every 2 weeks? I'm going to try your method.
Cheers!

To plant a garden is to believe in the future.
When using your greens harvester on bigger greens, can you use it multiple times on a crop or is it a clear cut?
I got a backache just watching this.
the time lapse beat was solid bro
wont the left over leaves that were cut but not collected decompose and dirty up the bed/crop? do you just leave them there?
Nice & crisp!
We call that final cutting. We do leaf by leaf most of the time, cutting the biggest leaves and letting the plants grow bigger.
If I did this there would be holes everywhere because of bugs. How are his leaves so perfect?
Curtis, do you leave a certain amount of leaves on plants like spinach when you're harvesting? Or do they put out more growth just fine when you take down most or all of the leaves? I was wondering how well they would bounce back without enough left for good photosynthesis
How do you make sure you don:t cut all your tendons in your hand when harvesting like this, surely sometimes mistakes happen no?? leather gloves would be nice I think no?
I see alot of wastage..many healthy leaves we're lying on ground…. better u could pick them up as well…
That spinach looks awesome. I like to buy fresh spinach from the market, when I can, but the farmers in my country harvest it by pulling the hole plant out and they sell it root and all and full of dirt haha.
Good job. Almost as fast as a lawn mower. Cheers
Hey Curtis, love you channel!
Just wondering… does this big evergreen tree make your soil more acidic?
Do you have to remove all the spines on the ground regularly?
I know evergreen trees generally lower the ground pH a lot.
Thanks!
Hi Curtis! If you were to grow baby spinach which spacing would you than do? Thanks
i have this really tall spinach taking over the garden, like 50 cm tall, lots of it, should i harvest them in this same way? how can i turn this into a selling crop, thanks
Hey Curtis. Is there any way I could download some of your music?
I wish my front yard was a garden! That is awesome. Thanks for the tip. I am growing spinach right now for the first time in Southern Cal.
Where are you at?
So I had my spinach growing in my raised beds and they got absolutely ruined by catelillars. I tried the organic bacteria spray and they just wouldn't quit. Every leaf looked like Swiss cheese. How did you prevent this?
Isn't that technique strenuous on the back?
