Looks awesome! I've never tried to put butter in jelly. Can you say how long you can store the jelly (before the butter in it goes bad/rancid)?
I see you got your counters done. Looks good and so does your jelly
Your videos are always full of wonderful knowledge!! I make syurp usually too…lol. Thank you for sharing. God bless
Wonderful! Just made violet jelly last week for the first time and my daughter who loves everything pink is in love with this jelly. Dandelion and clover jelly are favorites here too. Nature provides so much to us if we just observe the bounty before us.
He is such a combination of you and James.
Thanks so much for sharing your violet jelly recipe! I had no idea we could eat those, they are beautiful lil flowers 🙂
Patera, could you us the same recipe to make white clover jelly? I have white clover, no wild violets. If I could find, I'd transplant to my yard. Thanks for all your help. The jelly is beautiful.
I live in Arizona and miss the first violets of spring.
This might be a dumb question but what made it turn pink?
Love this! I'm curious whether you get the same result with white violets (our yard is FULL of them…)?
I’ve never heard of this kind of jelly, I love how it changed color!! You two are so silly!
I love my Ball Jelly Jam maker ..
So beautiful!
The color of that is gorgeous! I'm glad it worked out perfectly for you!
Good job Gabriel! Good job mom!
I wanted to thank you so much for showing me this jam and jelly maker. I have RA. I have a lot of pain in my hands, have a hard time stirring food. I showed this video to my hubby, he said buy it now. lol! came in the mail today. I'm so happy
Keep teaching. Never had wild violet jelly but sure is pretty
Interesting! Violets are also quite high in antioxidants. 🙂
Hey, Patara! I have a friend who makes this every year and I'm SO grateful when I receive my tiny little jar. It is DOOD!! Love, Elizabeth
What a nifty appliance! No more standing over a hot stove stirring, stirring, stirring.
Have you done grape leaf pickles yet? What about anything with musadines?
New idea I'm crappy with jellies too. Sometimes they do great others syrups
