You said you couldn’t convey the magic of time after the storm. I totally picked up on it. It invoked sweet memories of time at our home in Rescue Ca. I would get up extra early just to sit on the porch and listen to the early morning sounds while watching the haze disappear. Good memories cold or cool air, the cry of the peacocks, earth sounds as she awoke the slow rise of the sun knowing the day was going to turn into a scorcher. Thank you for sharing the love of your farm, the love of your family and critters. God’s blessings to you.

I’ve wanted to live on a farm since I was very young. I never did get my dream but I love watching you live out your dream . I do have an awesome garden in the suburbs – so thankful to the Lord for giving me a chance to grow things.
Hey Bug's Ear! I tried your egg trick when planting tomatoes. I think that's just an old wive's tale. I'm seeing no correlation between size or health in my homestead tomatoes, but we'll see when they start fruiting. I'm eating a lot of tomato sammiches over the sink with mayo juice running off my elbow. I'm a true southerner. 😀
