The homestead is growing & changing again! Come with Patara as she shows you the new duck pen and how we are starting to grow. It’s a work in progress, but should be completed in just a few days. Khaki Campbells are a great addition to any farm and lay the most wonderful eggs! Thank you for watching! Enjoy!

looks great
Do you ever have a problem with your cat killing baby ducks or chicks?
I used the same setup with my first batch of ducks. You will need to hinge the roof to make clean up easier. They will make a mess in there! Otherwise it works great! Blessings!
I don't think I've ever eaten a duck egg.. Do they taste different than a chicken egg? Good luck!
Duck eggs are awesome.
Hello, I think I picked up that you are from Tennessee from a previous video, I was stationed in millington, Tenn. what part is your homestead in, if you don't mind me asking?
I started with a dog pen and small dog house sized coop also! I added a second pen, then built a bigger coop, then got a bigger pool and finally fenced in an acre for the ducks! LOL! They are great animals that lay delicious eggs! I now have 20. Mostly Welsh Harlequins and a few mixes.
I like the set up for the ducks, I also have those same boots. My hubby laughs at me when I am wearing shorts and those boots!
Thank you for this video. We are talking about adding ducks in the spring. I was wondering what we would do for them. And I think this set-up is great!!! I love all your videos. You are my go to for info when I have a question.
I have so enjoyed watching the videos on Khaki Campbell ducks. I got 10 in the mail two weeks ago and I am loving it. This is our 4th set of ducks with the other 3 being mallards. We have such a problem with predators that our will live in their 10 X 20 cage. Thanks for all the videos….
You could be on TV.
I’m doing your dog pen idea for our ducks but can’t figure out how to fortify the door to the actual dog pen. Any advice?
