  1. False front drawers are for flour, sugar, rice and pasta or beans. In theory, you'd fill the front section full so that it always looks full (for esthetics). Kind of like how they stored things in the old fashioned general stores.

  2. Becks, here is an idea for the four cabinets with false fronts: enlarge some of your favorite photos to put behind the glass/plexiglass. Whether you choose garden, view, skiing, wedding, family, etc., removing something from one of those drawers could provide a moment of Zen. In years to come, you could replace those with pictures of the items stored in each cabinet so Junior Josh or Junior Becks could take out specific items for you while serving as Mommy's Little Helper!

  3. Hi Becky .. I came across your Channel just as you bought the new house, I live in New Zealand and I’m really enjoying your content
So far I have been motivated to clean out my kitchen and organise my pantry more and will be getting my veggie garden ready for spring planting ( once the rain stops) .. so thank you.
Enjoy setting up your new home for you Josh the dogs and baby.

  4. For the glass drawer front compartments you can store candles, dish towels, cute napkins and baby bottles. Anything really that looks nice but you don't have a lot of and can store in a smaller space.

  5. Oh my god please make all the open shelving like dry goods jars you can easily grab that you use a lot! Like oats and nuts and lentils and beans and chia etc! Would be easier for filming too!

  6. Omg look at all those power points! I’d die! I only have two in my kitchen… both in horrible spots!
Definitely put some nice vases and fake flowers in those display windows just nice trinkets.

  7. You are just so full of energy. I use to be that way. I’m 76 years old and I cleaned house and also did a lot of other jobs. You have so much energy and you are so happy all the time. I think it is so nice that you are always bragging on Josh. I can just see the love y’all have for one another when y’all are together. I hope every day in YALLS new home is a day filled with thankfulness and laughter and kindness and all the fruits of the spirt as the Bible talks about. Many blessings to yall

  8. Hi Becky, I think I would want to lie down in the middle of all that and have someone else make decisions! The glass drawer fronts I would put some cooker books with nice covers or if you print yours keep them in a nice covered binder. I hope the family member who was having the emergency is doing OK, that must be stressful. Enjoying all the videos, stay well.

  9. You look so pretty in your beautiful blouse! So glad your almost done with the kitchen unpacking! Can't wait to see it all finished and get to see the whole thing. Such a cute kitchen and pantry!

  10. For those little spaces you could theme them to the season your in or the holiday. Cotten and little trees for winter tiny pumpkins and on fall veggies for fall, flowers for spring and so on. Or if you don’t really want the decoration space you could take out the glass and move the piece of would on the inside of the drawer to block off the space making it look intentional. Fill the holes in the drawer and bing bam boom it seems like it was ment to be there

  11. Those 4 drawers with glass fronts. First thing I thought of was it reminded me of bins for potatoes or other root crops. Then thought that would be a mess to clean. 2nd though would be favorite cook books that you use often, sort of having them on display. Final thought bottles that are slender. Hard to tell how deep that small section is. I have full faith in you that when you come across the item/items that belongs there you will know. May I suggest placing your cheese cake pan up on its side in the back. Other stuff in front will sit down nicely then. I’m excited watching how things are coming together!

  12. Hi there! The false front drawers, if it were me, would be great to house something like a kitchen print or painting that you could just lean on there. You could do farm animals, or landscape prints, or inspirational sayings, whatever catches your fancy. Not practical, but would be pretty and unique.

  13. I recently discovered your channel and you already feel like an old dear friend.

For those deep drawers with the false fronts you could display some of your favorite cookbooks. There is enough room to stand 1 to 3 together in a little grouping.

In that space under the microwave you could put a small lamp and a little succulent plant (faux maybe) and a family picture. It could be like a little cozy decor nook.

I'm sure you'll make it look pretty.
