  1. Hi Jess, My name is Toni, I am over in the UK, this is my 4th year of growing veg, each year i double what i grew before, went looking for ideas on net, came across your channel and have just been hooked! you are such an inspiration!! I have previously planted in raised beds, but used towers of car tyres and a couple of old rowing boats, salvaged a load of pallets recently and started building bigger raised beds, love your arch idea and having a go at that. Also trying straw bale planting. I have a bit of a 'skip rat' reputation of finding other peoples waste materials and building them into something great for our campus and garden, its an amazing world isn't it! Last year i threw some old potatoes that had started to sprout, into a car tyre tower i hadnt used, they were meant for the compost heap, i just didnt have time right then, forgot about them, they grew, i topped u some compost on them, left them to grow and they did really well, dont know what they like about the rubber bed, but they liked it, so going to purposely plant some this year. Happy planting and look forward to seeing the window house, cottage garden sounds great and everything else you have in store for us this year, love watching you.

  2. Thanks for sharing! I love your garden tours and have actually planned our new garden to mimic yours. Our big difference will be a half acre cut flower garden with watermelon and pumpkins in an area behind it. We just bought 16 acres that had previously been planted in cotton and we are currently cleaning all of those plants out.

  3. I just found you, and this you tube and I've binge watched many of your videos already. I just have to say you are the cutest thing ever and I absolutely love hearing everything about your gardens and life. I am at work dreaming of being at home and you have me smiling like a goober at my desk- I love it! I am happy to have found ya!

  4. Stunning garden and I can't wait to watch through summer. I'm almost 68, a widow, yet I still garden and grow whatever I can. One day what I plant will feed another family who moves here. I love love gardening!!! It or a JOY to watch you!!! I love your ideas!!

  5. I was just thinking " I wonder what Jess is up to with her garden" & then I saw the thumbnail. Yes I watched till the very end. Excited to see how the cottage garden comes along as well as the back to Eden melons.

  6. I am pretty new to your channel, I am loving it 🙂   I will have to share my Marmalade recipe using zucchini.  It is delicious, we use many of the flavors as ice cream topping as well.

  7. I love your vision of the future! There is nothing more amazing than seeing a plan and a dream turn into a reality. You are so encouraging and gentle in your truth and wisdom and I am so blessed by your videos every time I watch them. We are beginners in homesteading and self sufficient living but I feel so connected in this adventure because of the other like minded people who gather here with you. Thanks for being the light!!

  8. I've found that people that don't care too much about green beans tend to like them french style……..a hand crank frencher might be a helpful tool to add to your family's kitchen

  9. We are a curious bunch of people aren’t we? We love learning from people who do what we Love. For some reason where other people envy each others things, we gardeners Love to share our knowledge and seeds, cuttings, propagation & transplants! We Love to talk about our ferments, dehydrating & canning. We share our recipes and it brightens our souls! I Love your videos, God Bless your family & your garden!

  10. I love your videos. I get so many ideas for my own garden. I love taking extra veggies to work to coworkers. Want to can and freeze as much as I can this year. Love you and Mia and your family. Great job!

  11. Somehow in my catching up with your past videos, I missed this one. I love looking at this “before” planning stage when I think about now, September 2020, you’ve realized your dream. The work you have done is inspiring, I adore your cottage garden and am even more impressed seeing the bare ground before. Growth is possible for all of us!
