  1. The reddish greens….what did you call them? We have them in green here in Greece. They are called vlita and we boil the greens and serve them with garlic sauce and lemon as a side dish . They are tender like spinach but not sweet . My favorite summer wild greens.

  2. Are you sure he was dumped? Have you had him checked for a microchip and checked any local lost & found pages (maybe In FB)? The docked tail makes me dubious he was dumped.

  3. Bless you little Ben. Jess your sons are such nice boys and they clearly appreciate how much you do. Rescued dogs are so incredibly grateful. My brother has one that was dumped by his house and then a neighbour threw acid on him. He lost an ear and the hair won't grow on his shoulder but he follows my brother like a shadow (which of course is his name).

  4. Jess, I’ve been following you for a year now. I love watching your videos and listening to you. I’m not one to ever comment on anything but I thought I’d write this time to tell you “ You are so inspiring and lovely”, “ You are beautiful” and on any given day, a few minutes of listening to you grounds me and brings me back to what truly is important in life. The simple things. God bless you and all that you love. Grizel / Knoxville TN.

  5. We have been trying to find a new dog. We had to put our 14 year old yellow lab mix down last January. And don't want a puppy. Looking to find a 1 or 2 yrs. Old. Thought we found her at the pound in may. But they ended up giving her to another lady. Broke my heart, and it just took the wind out of my search. We really need a good female lab mix as we love their temperament and watch dog against the wildlife here in the country. Hopefully soon we will be blessed with a new friend. We adopted 3 cats from the pound the 1st of August. A 4 yrs old brother and sis. Buttons and bo. And 1 year old savana g. Luv them!

  6. Asher did great – what a sweet little soul! I love the beautiful wild garden for sure – it has such a good vibe right now it seems, enjoy it! Thank you for rescuing that sweet puppy!

  7. the greens of sweet potato vine are also edible. they taste pretty great actually. try them. if you don't harvest the tubers, you will have serious volunteers after winter as they will continue to produce tubers underground

  8. also, if you take cuttings from the sweet potato vine (which is often seen as a decorative plant at home stores ie., Lowe's etc… and put them in water or just stick them in dirt, and keep them watered they will root and create more tubers.

  9. I suffer from a lot of anxiety, depression, and trama. A lot that started when I moved into the city. The amount of peace I feel from just watching your videos and seeing your animals and garden is unreal. I really hope to have this soon. I am a single mom and moving to the country. Not a lot of money for much but hoping to find some seed exchanges and such to get started. Thank you for all your great videos.
