It's funny your flour jar is empty. Obviously you've already been busy. Lol. I make homemade dressing and fresh cranberry sauce too here in southern Missouri. This year I planned a little better and did some foods and a lot of prep work the day before. Makes a big difference. Sorry for your sadness. It seems that will get a little easier over time but will always be on your mind. I hope you all had a good thanksgiving Jess and Miah. God bless you all.

Hi Jess and Miah, I'm a little behind on watching. Miah you do a great job just like Jess. You both are very special people. Yes holidays will be hard after the loss of a loved one. But like you are doing celebrate her memory. I do this too with my grandmother and grandpa. All the things we use to do. In my mind memories are alive for a bit. I've been very Blessed!

Miah did a great job as that was a lovely Vlog. I'm thankful for the Roots and Refuge Farm and family for helping us that are working towards a homesteading lifestyle. Without folks like you, who show us the good and the BAD (most important part), there are those of us who would be walking onto a path of earth without a clue in the world with what to do with it.
I probably still won't have much of a clue but will surely have a back-pocket full of useful advice to lean on.
Good idea to make the most. Sure people have said it already but your mom would want to live your best life. It is a tribute to her to make the most of your days. May God bless you, each one.
