Thank you Jeremiah for opening up about bottled up emotions. It's exactly how I have been dealing to the point that I don't always know what I'm feeling. I've been working on that too trying to communicate with my wife that something is going on but I haven't figured out what it is yet. I don't want those involuntary releases, it's unhealthy and you cause pain to your loved ones for saying things you never wanted to say if you were more in control.

You all are not alone… my hubby was my high school sweetheart. I broke up from our perfect relationship because we only seen each other at school. We lost touch… I spent 15 yrs in the wrong relationship… never married. He married 3 times. He found me. Called me. We both were single for a few years. He came to visit and never left… married 6 months later. This Oct is 9th anniversary. Perfect, peaceful, we appreciate each other.

How cool it is to see a similar partnership to the one I am blessed with?! The secret to the happiness in my marriage is absolutely loving yourself as hard as you love you sweetheart, not taking them for granted, and striving to always to reach for compassion/warmth/heart fist wherever you can… It's a wisdom that-

I am just now watching this episode, my husband and I have such a similar story. We were both married before and when he proposed to me we said the same thing, this is it, divorce is not an option, we are together no matter what happens. And it has been a strange comfort to completely be ourselves because we know no matter what, we will make this work. ❤️
