  1. JESSICA, I'm with you on antibiotics, still trying to rebuild immunities after pancreatic cancer treatments. But sometimes, we just don't have a choice. I hope you get feeling better soon. OooooH PLEASE SHOW US HOW TO MAKE KEIFER! I bought some at wally world on a lark and love it! Looking into it, it's very easy to make, and hoping it lasts longer for me than milk does.

  2. I'm sorry to hear that you were sick. I recently had to take a round of antibiotics myself. I feel like something in the antibiotics have changed? or maybe just my reaction to them. After a take a round my energy and my stomach is really affected for a while. I hate having to take them but I know sometimes you just gotta.

  3. I asked a goat dairy farmer about the excessive goat taste in some cheeses and she said that to prevent that, one must keep the boys separate from the girls in milk. Apparently it is something to do with the male urine causing a hormonal reaction??? I am unsure but something like that.

  4. My buckling is very affectionate and I can't seem to get in to feed them or clean or anything without coming out smelling like a buck! I try to dodge him but he wants his shoulders scratched and presses his face into my legs. It's revolting, but I can't help but laugh at the little stinker!

  5. Goats that are kept with bucks changes the milk, goats that are allowed to eat wild onions that chamnges the flavor and personally I think store bought goat cheese is made will older milk. Home made goat cheese is so much better! Especially with owners that know goats and how to care for their cheeses.

  6. Get well soon thanks for sharing feel the same way about how much garden has helped me since I started about 4years ago. It’s not looking to good for me so probably will have to give up the garden but thank u for your videos they help so much

  7. Feel better. *It's the breed of goat, how it's handled, and what it's eating = the taste. I 100% agree with you. No to goat tasting cheese. 🙂 Home grown is best. You bring a lot of joy to all with your videos. Thank you.

  8. Rest! So you can heal my friend. I love plants too nothing is better like you are expressing to see things grow.but to take care of them, and till the soil and nuture them, you have to nuture yourself. I have recently discovered your channel, and love your sharing! May God bless you and heal you.

  9. I had a pet billy when i was a child. It's not a smell you ever forget! Any goats milk product I've ever tried tastes like goats smell and I just can't bear it. So in light of that I am quite interested instead in having sheep for milk, which I believe don't have smelly milk!

  10. Jess, so glad to see you on the mend.

For myself, I've moved from full height sunflowers which require at least some level of support to dwarf sunflowers (Short Stuff from Southern Exposure Seed Exchange, which reach about 2 feet tall) and move them to the flower beds I am building in front of the house (I'm in a city where the inspectors get nasty when someone plants anything that might be a vegetable or non-flowering herb in front of the house). Even if they don't head into eatable seeds, I love the look of sunflowers and am hoping they will self propagate to fill the front beds with yellow, red and orange baby suns.

  11. Just wanted to say thank you for all you've shared and I yours do share God bless you from my family to yours and thank you so much for sharing a corner at what you do every day we all know it's very hard work and you have to love it in order to really enjoy it and be able to do it so thank you Miss just for everything you do
