This is the busy season, summer is not far away

Ah, Stuttgart! My dad was born near Stuttgart, and I have a soft spot for everything "Schwäble". Very frugal people who know how to stretch a penny and who waste very little.

That's a nice big growing area you have, this winter sure was a long one for us all, hope you get stuff in the ground soon.
LOL it has been 100F or 40C or so for almost two weeks now and we just left the last cool front that will dip us below it. Now it is a test of endurance. Does the heat beat me and my plants or do I cultivate through. The most annoying is that tomatoes don't flower much above 90. This last cool front provided maybe a dozen more flowers. Nothing to envy here unless you like a hot dry suanna as soon as you step outside.
My understanding is that it is a temperature problem. I am going to keep this bed going as long as I can keep it to see if I can get them to flower in this heat or even survive until we cool down in a few months.
