I love watching your videos, so keep up the good work! I missed the live Q&A your very inspiring. Can you put the link for the guest you had on with you for her you tube channel as well to pls. I couldn't really hear what she said it was.. ive learned so much about gardening from you so pls keep posting new stuff.
I have learned so much from both of your channels thank you form NC!
Catching up late. You guys did this so well. Im in Australia (cool mountain zone – winters to minus 10C) so am still harvesting tomatoes, cukes, zucchini, salad, beans etc. Just about to plant my garlic, broad beans and winter brassicas out (into no dig compost) before first frost in 4-6 weeks. Have fun planning your 2020 garden.
Both of your books are supposed to be delivered next week to me here in Tennessee, USA. Very excited to get them!
I have just taken over half an allotment ,,one area I have been told a tree was removed . THERES NO STUB BUT IVE BEEN TOLD THE ROOTS COULD STILL BE FURTHER DOWN ………IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN GROW WITH NO DIG IN MIND .?
JUST TO SAY THE VEGETABLE OKRA ALSO KNOWN AS LADIES FINGERS IS A VEGETABLE THAT ONCE CUT PRODUCES A SLIMMY SAP ……ITS NOT EATEN RAW BUT ADDED TO A CURRY SAUCE BECAUSE ITS QUITE TASTELESS SO NEEDS SPICES ETC TO GIVE IT a flavour as it’s grown and eaten daily in India
Have you done a video on kimchi ?
I have noticed many of the channels that I watch have suddenly had a much lower volume. I am wondering if it is something youtube has done different.
I just stumbled across this channel. I hope I don't sound like a condescending jerk, but you two are so cute I can't even stand it. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and being so damn likeable.
I like angled luffa gourd. Yum! But it's hard to find this vegetable in Australia. One day I will try to grow it. For okra, people cook fish curry with okra.
Y’all are the cutest.
I found out there’s a red cucumber and I’m wanting to try that one. I do a Facebook seed swap and have them sent to my post office box in town. I’ve gotten over 100 different kinds of seeds in a month from gardeners in US and Canada- many of which are rare seeds. My fave that I’m growing right now is a butterfly pea flower… cucamelons… and some rare Native American beans.
I also discovered there are thousands of kinds of tomatoes and I’m planning to eventually try them all… a few each season, I guess…
Try Texas in August – then you’ll have lots of extra ideas on how difficult our 8b really is with 100s for months in a row. :/ No, really – visit in January. Texas winter is like spring.
Won't let me subscribe. Would like to… Any suggestions?
You're such a great guy, I always wanted for a husband a person who's just like you 🙂 I'm happily married now but I still love your smile 🙂
I love your channel and all the info you are sharing. Thank you! Aloha, Voytek
I have noticed that you often talk about adding "peat free" compost. Is there a reason you advise against peat? Thanks!
Re-living your live chat. Thoroughly good vid. Having scouted a lot of garden channels, I've 'thinned down a lot' but Hugh and Liz will stay high on my list. Good to see you working together. Best wishes on both sides of the Marches. Too much outlay on infrastructure at present but when it eases off, the book is on my 'wish list'. All the best to you both – Paul
Loving this thanks.
is there a link to her channel?
We also had a water main break in our front yard last fall. It washed away 1/4 of the hellstrip garden and some of the herb garden on the other side of the driveway.
We are waiting for warmer temps to reconstruct it.
Hi, just come across your channel. I have a question for you – how can I confirm if the bamboo I have, is safe to plant directly into the garden?
When will the next Q&A be?
It is like seeing you when you started, when I look at Owen☺️
