Every time I hear about hand pollination, I think you’re all absolutely insane. Why do you think this is so clever? When instead you should consider why you are having this problem in the first place, fix the problem, hand pollination is a band aid. Stop killing the bees with all the pesticides and chemicals because by using them you are weakening those wonderful bees and making them sick. Think about all the people who do use these chemicals even if you don’t, then think why they’re using them…………because they don’t want moles in their yards, perfect grass? It’s grass, nice to walk on, what an excuse , historically it helped keep homes clean from dirt………put in plants that bring the bees to you and want to stay. I plant borage and the bees love it! I plant castor beans for moles, read up on them so you know about what you plant, educate yourselves because there are alternatives to chemicals.

When checking my cucumbers all flowers were male! Could not find a single female flower! Any idea what would cause that?
