VIDEO: GGC – 34 – One Full Year In Our Van and Everything Just Keeps Working Out

Part 30 of our road trip across Northern Quebec and Eastern Canada. We took the ferry to Prince Edward Island, and in so doing, entered our 10th and final province. We moved into our van full time on July 1st 2014, and as of July 1st 2015, we’ve visited every province, every territory, and all three oceans of Canada. To make it even more special, it all happened on Canada Day (Canada’s birthday), and concluded in Charlottetown, the birthplace of confederation.

  1. yes; you certainly in the right spot for some great music, and good cold beer, wonderfully warm and friendly people. Everyone should know the words to "o Canada" yes Maple Leaf Forever!

  2. Once again. Great video. I don't know if its the colour on your camera but at 3:03 it looked like the green grass of a miniputt. And for a second I thought to myself.. Who the hell puts a miniputt beside a ferry… beside the water!!! I came to my senses and realized it was just the wharf

  3. Hello from New York City!! Great video. Glad everything worked out. Sometimes it's best to just go with the flow. Happy Vanniversary! My full year of van life is coming up in a couple of months! All the best. Peaceful journey! ~ThinkBig.

  4. We go to PEI every year ( we are from NB ) and many campers stay overnight at Walmart Charlottetown . The signs say no overnight parking but we were told years ago the only weekend they don't allow campers there is the Cavendish country music festival weekend . Anyways you had a good time in the maritimes thats the main thing 🙂 Looking forward to more videos .

  5. Great video guys. What an accomplishment you two have completed. AWESOME! I believe that things don't just work out, it's your attitude that makes things work out and you guys have great attitudes. I have enjoyed your adventures, keep them coming and safe travels to you two.

  6. I discovered your channel as far back as YESTERDAY. I started watching the videos at the part where you were getting good ready to leave for James Bay. I was hooked and subscribed right away. I love the way your mix a great travel log with your day to day life on the road. it's like I a along for the ride. The best part is your are Canadian and from the same province as I am.

Newfoundland is the only Province I have never been to along with the Territories. Thanks for showing get me a part of the land I have seen. I've been watching several videos of yours at a session since they are so addicting. I feel you are friends of mine now. keep up the good work and keep on travelling.

  7. OK, I kinda cringed when you had to pony up the fifty bucks, but when you listed off all the other benefits (wifi, breakfast etc.) it started to sound less cringe worthy. Too bad about the wind issue.

  8. Love your travel videos. What an adventure you undertook and documented! Of the places you have visited, what would you rate as the best scenery? Best experiences? Best people?

As to "visiting every province and territory in Canada", it appears you still have to visit the newly designated autonomous territory of Nunatsiavut in Labrador?
