  1. Maybe I am the only person in the world who cuts their onions on the (cold, and turned off) stove with the exhaust fan above it turned on? It sucks the airborne 'fumes' away from my face and out of the kitchen. I never have irritated eyes cutting with the cooking exhaust fan on. Try it yourself.

  2. I freeze the slices separated 1st on a cookie sheet… then bag them in 1 cup portions in vacuum bags. Bell peppers too. So easy to pull them out and throw straight from the freezer …. in to the skillet for fajitas. The texture is soft… (no crisp snap/al dente) but serves quiet well and delish.

  3. Hello sir i am student from India.. Does this need be freez or just in fridge would be enough.. I am going to purchase cheap fridge which probably didn't have freezer, so does this trick works with fridge.

  4. As the dim witted person I am, I froze my onions without cutting them, right in the bag from the produce section. I took one out of the freezer yesterday and I was about to eat it, only to find that it’s gone slightly mushy. Would you say it’s still safe to eat?

  5. To avoid crying when cutting onions, I soaked the onion in very cold water before cutting or I put it in the freezer for 1 minute or 2 and it always worked.

  6. Chomp! Chomp! Chomp! There goes your tomatoes! Thanks for a good video. Have question about root end you plant in the spring. Do you just let it stay dry until almost time to plant THEN put it in water to grow roots and then plant? I can't imagine putting it in water to grow roots months ahead of planting date. ??? Thanks for helping all of us. Jesus bless.
