I had one of those a few weeks ago, we have frogs living in our swales, they have been great eating all the 'bad bugs', even roaches. great stuff , thx for the share. God bless.

my aunt used to have a turtle in her garden which she found at the side of the road
the turtle spend the winter underneath the compost file in a corner
and sometimes she had the turtle in her house feeding it lettuce
she had no "fruit forest", but a huge variety of all kind of "native" plants, I once heard 200 different ones, which she knew all the names of, more then the use of them alas, but I'm not sure of that… 🙂

I found two baby turtles in my compost pile eating tomatoes 🙂
What about snake? I lose my interest in gardening when I think about snake 🙁
