Any wait to see what you’ll grow
Can you grow tomatoes indoors in the winter? Wouldn't it be great to have home grown tomatoes in December or January in Canada? I live in central Washington and think it would be great to grow them here in Winter; but, our winters are so cold.
Id like to know the cost as you said I might be surprised? If I didn't like LED lights what would be the next best alternative light to use? Thank you. ..
Great experiment. I would be love to grow an avocado tree in the middle of winter in Canada and get fruit( hard part). I do not think these are practical to grow though in Canada. But wouldn’t it be great if you did not have to get avacados from Mexico or Peru (where the Costco ones come from). Not sure how far you are from this lady ( https://youtu.be/RstJxmgTGzU )but I believe Salt Spring Island is like a zone 8 at elevation near the sea level.
The others would be ginger or turmeric and for something totally different a neem tree.
OMGosh I can't wait to see how this turns out!!
Lets see you grow Sativa in your tent……..You know those other tomato's.
Dragon fruit is tasty.
grow watermelon in the middle of winter there's an idea
Avacodo
Okra, cucumbers….you could make one tent all hot peppers-jalapeño, cayenne, and habanero, or something other type spicy pepper. Potatoes. Green onions. I would want to grow everything!
I picked up a 4×4 grow tent for free on NextDoor, and I am wondering how to use it, so this series is going to be helpful. Question: Can you only have one level of plants growing in the tent? Feels like such a waste of all that vertical space.
Do you use any fans in your grow tents, such as exhaust or intake?
I had seen these products while searching for some sulfur products through your website. It's an awesome idea. Unfortunately we live under someone else' s roof, cannot have them installed.. Hopefully someday when we have a place of our own I may be in some serious considerations on getting one of these. Can't wait to see what you have grown in there!
Tents are great. I got a little clone tent, takes up no space. $120 with a CFL globe. Got some orchids and Cape Gooseberries and other stuff in it. Oh yeah, prob most important, a nice pot of Sundews. It's slaying the fungus gnats.
Nice video, happy growing and happy share!
Tomatoes, garlic and green peppers!!
I am guessing you are going to do videos on indoor grows this winter-awesome! Can’t wait for the tomatoe video. I am trying to figure that one out. They get so crazy big. Not sure how to contain the plant and still have nice red tomatoes all winter long. Can’t wait to see how you do it. Also, great idea to put the heat mat on the bottom too. Thanks. Also trying to figure out how to have a supply of greens for my chickens through the winter. They love kale. Micro greens would get expensive because they require so many seeds. Are you growing greens/kale/spinach in the tents as well! Thanks!
Could you measure the exact dimension of just the metal pole frame? Preferably in metric. Their specs on paper seems off.
I liked your ideas for the flooring insulation and low profile Rubbermaid would be great for hydro pails or soil type planters in larger tents for mess durring watering. Those Rubbermaid are good for storing cured flower and dried herbs, leaf & trimmings as well. I know you can start mini hairless kiwi indoors and transplant outside to live in our Canadian climate year round but I wonder if a mini banana bush can be grown in a tent durring winter and perhaps be moved outside durring spring/summer, then back inside the following winter etc.
Please tell me you have a indoor strawberry setup. I'm trying to grow some indoors but they are just next to a window and some under led grow lights for 12hrs. Please do a video on growing strawberries indoors through winter. Mine started from bare roots, some about 2 months ago. Quinalts, seascapes, and one Ozark left but they are dying. Help please! Check out my ig @pottedpaseo.
Hi I am inpressed with your site what size insulation did you use please
Where can I buy that 4ft long heat mat in canada? Any specific brand would u recommend?
Weed
some advice: detach the adapters and hang them outside your tent – will reduce the inside temperature a lot.
Tomatoes huh?
How would you recommend me to mount my marshydro 1000 driver in my 4×8 tent I have 4 lights? Temps are starting to get to high
