Summary
In this video, Huw Richards demonstrates how to propagate golden marjoram from softwood cuttings using rooting powder and compost.
Highlights
Take softwood cuttings from the golden marjoram, around four or five inches long, cutting just underneath the green part.
Remove the bottom leaves from the cuttings and dip the cut end into rooting powder.
Make holes in seed and cutting compost, push the cuttings into the holes, and firm the soil around them.
Keep the soil moist and wait for the cuttings to take root.
Willow rooting stimulator can also be used in addition to rooting powder.
Propagating other herbs is possible using the same method.
In the next video, Huw Richards will demonstrate how to propagate lemon balm.
