We are beginning to prep for our spring garden. We purchased Red Lasoda seed potatoes from our local co-op, Candy Onion sets from Dixondale Farms, and some seeds from Johnny’s Seeds. We had a hen go broody. Since we don’t have a rooster, we didn’t have any fertilized eggs for her to hatch out. I got some eggs from my brother who has a rooster and let her hatch them out. In the end, only one of the three eggs hatched.
