We try to keep our garden as well mulched as we can. We keep all areas in the garden covered as much as possible. We mulch with everything we can get our hands on including cardboard, chopped leaves, grass clippings, and hay. We were given eight bales of old broken down hay and we used it to mulch in the garden!
