very nice hope those roses spring back for you. I like to see that others are having much better luck with plants then I've been having amazing amount of flowers on your red scarlet runner beans. keep up the good work. never heard of goose grass wonder if it's like our crab crass?

Great to get a wider view of your smallholding/farm(?) thanx for that. How do you stop carrot fly getting to your carrots when they are in the open like that? My courgettes have gone totally mad this year and we can't keep up with eating them! They are growing so fast they are all like marrows! I have even resorted to grating them into things like spaghetti bolognaise just to use them! x
Here is a recipe for you to beat your powdery mildew.
Mix 1 cup of milk with 9 cups of water.
Put the solution in a sprayer and spray the entire plant including the undersides of the leaves.
Do this twice a week and your powdery mildew problem should disappear.
Milk works in two ways: It has a germicidal effect–it kills the fungal spores– and it also appears to stimulate plants in such a way that they become more resistant to the disease.

Great update, its strange your tomatoes are not turning red yet :/ mine are all hundreds of reds i am even havving to jar some up as i got so many think i fed the whole street for the last month on them lol but that been said all my beefsteaks got blite so had to harvest them green and made a green salsa from them ๐ grapes looking awsome i just bought some os look forward to next years harvest lol
