  1. I had a baby avocado tree like yours I worked very hard to grow. I left it out in the yard to take advantage of the rain and the next day I found a squirrel had taken the entire tree. Time to start from scratch again. Great videos BTW.

  2. So all those plants have been kept outside during the winter? I think I live in a similar climate that you do, and I only have one pepper plant outside. It seems to be growing some during its dormant time! We'll see how it does in the spring. Also, I won some of those funny shaped seeds that your aunt gave you. When should I sprout them? Thanks!

  3. Oh yes, I still have the seeds. I think I might sprout one or two indoors at the end of winter, and plant two more in pots outside in the spring. I'm really a tomato/pepper gardener, so exotic plants are new to me. I'm still experimenting with plants I'm not familiar with. Again, thank you so much for the seeds!

  4. "The Complete Book of Fruit" by Leslie; Stevenson and Violet Johns says that adult loquat trees can grow outdoors, in the ground, in London; but will only have fruit that properly ripen on rare years with an unusually warm summer. Anyhow, you might be interested to know that you can easily graft loquats onto a quince rootstock. Any old quince trees in your neighbourhood? Should be fun! ๐Ÿ™‚
