Thanks ๐
I had a baby avocado tree like yours I worked very hard to grow. I left it out in the yard to take advantage of the rain and the next day I found a squirrel had taken the entire tree. Time to start from scratch again. Great videos BTW.
So all those plants have been kept outside during the winter? I think I live in a similar climate that you do, and I only have one pepper plant outside. It seems to be growing some during its dormant time! We'll see how it does in the spring. Also, I won some of those funny shaped seeds that your aunt gave you. When should I sprout them? Thanks!
Hey thanks for watching, and no they are staying in until the last frost, so you have the seeds with you? I would plant them mid spring, thanks for watching ๐
Oh yes, I still have the seeds. I think I might sprout one or two indoors at the end of winter, and plant two more in pots outside in the spring. I'm really a tomato/pepper gardener, so exotic plants are new to me. I'm still experimenting with plants I'm not familiar with. Again, thank you so much for the seeds!
"The Complete Book of Fruit" by Leslie; Stevenson and Violet Johns says that adult loquat trees can grow outdoors, in the ground, in London; but will only have fruit that properly ripen on rare years with an unusually warm summer. Anyhow, you might be interested to know that you can easily graft loquats onto a quince rootstock. Any old quince trees in your neighbourhood? Should be fun! ๐
I planted one avocado seed and now I have 3 trees ๐
wonderful avocado plants ๐ I keep trying but no luck on getting one to sprout
wow
I was told i need to keep the seed a bit warmer, around 65-70f (18-20c) for about a week i have tree's now oldest is 4 feet tall and one about 1 foot.
What's the pine looking tree next to your avo tree?
What are loquats? I have never heard of it. Is it fruits or veggies? you have some great videos. Really enjoyed.
