Luke, can I have your pepper spray recipe? great video. I have been having really good luck with the apple cider vinegar/baking soda solution but I want to make sure I kill them all.

Are these the little gnats that Ray says to use Pyritherin and Neem oil on the soil and plants?
4 red hot peppers, 1 clove garlic, 3 tablespoons cruches red pepper, 4 tbs tabasco sauce, 1 teaspoon dish soap, 1 gallon hot water.
*put all the hot ingredients and the garlic in the food pureer.
**Let mixture set to leach out for 30minutes-24 hours
***Dilute the mixture 1 part concentrate to 3 parts water
****Pout through coffee filter to filter out seeds and pulp to apply via sprayer, otherwise drench soil .

Sounds like you have the situation under control. I think it's good that you are kind of solving these problems yourself, using stuff that you can find around the house. It is very self sufficient and resourceful. ๐

You need predator mites to kill the larvae. The pepper spray might kill off the adults and larvae for now but the mites are a permanate solution. I have some and they work great.

Fungus gnats are obnoxious. I hate them and will be getting some predatory mites to get rid of them for good.
Gnatrol is a certified organic method of controlling fungus gnats. Unfortunately in order to buy it, you need to be setup as a business(most cases). Gnatrol is also a 3 week treatment.
You might want to try a spray with fels naptha (real detergent) soap and garlic powder.ย My mother-in-law from Germany swore by this for pests.
Use Lady Bugs. Lady bugs are known to eat some types of bugs. Dont know if lady bugs will work on fungus gnats but its worth a shot.
