Found info that Pomelos are most commonly found in Florida, California, Arizona and Texas – the “warm” states that pomelo trees thrive in. Hope that helps

These huge fruits grow well just down the road from me in the valley. Some varieties have incredibly thick rind/pith, which can also be candied like lemon peel. Dipping the fruit itself in some fine sugar also adds to the experience.
Hi, Huw! I love pomelos and have been buying them for years whenever I see them in the supermarket (I live in Birmingham UK)……these days they usually cost around £2 each….I don't know how true it is but I understood it to be a cross between a grapefruit and a melon…Happy New Year! xxx
