Setting unachievable goals, and impatience, is what finishes off more great dreams than anything else. It takes years, and effort, and an ability to play through the disasters. We live in a society where everybody wants a black belt, but nobody is ready to get hit in the face. I could never figure out a way to make that work.

I think and feel a lot like you do…I am not perfect but I feel I am better than many folks as far as doing with less and running our life within our budget and I see value in items most would throw away. I have bought thread and needles and patches for clothing repair if time gets bad and from your video I have learned not to wait for bad times but to utilize the items I have bought for hard times now.

No wonder i couldn't locate that past vid,….ya took it down, well, if it was harsh, no worries if it would have hurt me,….i'm strong, and always learnin' and improvisin',….i try not to let things get me down, always try and merge problems to where they're not noticeable, thanx again for some great words of encouragement, btw, a hectaire is 1,000 square meters, is an acre more or less the same size as a hectaire? That is what I am learning from your videos…to go ahead and sew torn clothes and not wait for some disasterous thing to happen…like you just said…make it a lifestyle, which equals learning and being economical and using ones head more than using money…example mending tore pants as to going out and buying new.

Please consider submitting this clip as a video response to one of my channels here on YT on a clip you feel is pretty on topic. I like this clip a lot and someone shared it with me. I don't like "pie in the sky" thinking and don't like seeing it in myself. Some analysis, either quantitative or qualitative or both, is needed, as is discipline! Very old fashioned.
I really recommend a fairly recent video on the clevelandmarko channel for you. It is in two parts and has to do with using fireplaces, wood heaters, pellet stoves, candles, etc. He has been a home inspector for eons and his videos are often funny, always full of information. I've picked up lots of sound tips from this guy in Ohio. You absolutely do not want to be putting broken stuff in your wood heater.

Many of us didn't even see the first vid. I came late to the party and only heard the words you thought on. Anyone who doesn't get angry from time to time isn't looking.
