My mother made soup for family a while back, don't really know how it was made, I didn't like most of it to be honest. I enjoy soup all the time as long as I choose it myself off the shelf, and probably can make my own easily enough now I've seen how easy you made yours.
I would avoid any soup containing potato, and blended peas and beans; the ingredients I remember dominating my mother's recipes. I prefer the soup to be either creamy or watery; Not into that Semolina type texture.
My favourite soup is cream of tomato and cream of mushroom.
I think it would be delicious blended or unblended. Both versions look delicious Huw. You're actually quite a good cook for a yungun. 🙂
At the beginning of the video there are some jugs with airlocks in the window behind you. What are you fermenting?
I always think blending soup should only be done if you have something to hide : – )
