Re fodder trees, Leucaena and the other trees you are discussing are great for tropical high summer rainfall areas. You might consider Acacias for more temperate regions. Particularly Acacia mearnsii which like all acacias is a nitrogen fixer, produces good fodder and CSIRO in Australia have found that its seeds have significant natural deworming properties on livestock also.
