Would 'Chux' cloth perforated kitchen wipes work as a wicking material and keep the fine coco-coir from leaking out into the water? The roots should be able to eventually penetrate the tiny holes in the cloth.
After how many days chenge water??

why wouldn't make the drinking hole touch the water? probebly a good reason.. just wondering.. wouldn't need a wick if the medium is slightly above/touching the water

I used a sponge as the media though and it doubles as a wick
