This is the first year I attempted to grow from seed rather than paying a greenhouse to grow out my starts. I bombed the first round after making my own mix with a mushroom compost, not following the seeding mix directions to the T and the greenhouse conditions being off. The green house conditions were getting too hot during the day causing me to open up the green house loosing moisture in the top and the heavy mix holding too much at the bottom. I've got the second round fixed through much reading and this video if I would have found it a week ago would have covered everything!!!
I love these videos! What do you use to keep cucumber beetles at bay? I've used the beetle traps specifically for that type, but is there any other method? Thanks!
Interesting his perspective on when to plant heat loving plants. I know a guy in Idaho that starts his tomatoes inside in December, puts them in the greenhouse in January and has ripe fruit in June.
Good stuff to know. Ya Know?
There's something to it! John Appleseed. There's a lot to it…
Now…"I know" 🙂
Any recommendations for those of us that can’t get McEnroe Potting Soil ?
