Wow!!! Never seen so many cherries on a cherry tree like yours Jay,….55 liters of cherries?!! You've got RED GOLD there good buddy, alas with the subtropical clime we have here, the only cherries we get are spring/summer from the States or fall/winter from Chile, either are very expensive, but…..there is hope for native cherries, up in the Sierra Madre Occidental, the western mountain range that begins where the Rockies end in Arizona and New Mexico and continues down to, just north of Guadalajara, a plastic container weighin' in at 454 grams cost me at a neighborhood Walmart, $79.90, that comes out to $6.05 usd and 4.43 euros, expensive huh? Now, what was that about not lettin' your daughter have any cherry pie or other yummy cherry foods about? You're jokin' huh,….i know for a fact you love the li'l chilpayate(kid)!!! Well, ya do good, how else are kids gonna appreciate stuff if their mom and dad don't teach 'em good values and a strong work ethic!! Uprated my buddy, take care!! 🙂
Not drinkers here but if Schnapps has medicinal properties it might be something worth looking into. Looking forward to update videos on your progress.
Very interesting, Jay! The first thing that met me in Germany was the Schnapps-culture. I wasn`t familiar with how important this was, so I refused to drink the schnapps that was given me before a meal. I dont like strong drinks. Well, to make a long story shorter, my refusal of scnapps was perceived as a rude gest. Wow, didn`t expect the culture to be so different in such a short distance from here to Germany. Lol..
That cool J like how you mixed it. Its a tradition here too. Helps after fondue all that melted cheese nice but sits in the gut and the snaps sure sorts that out.
All these cherries remind me of when I was a little guy maybe 6 or 7 I went picking strawberries with my Mom, I ate as many as I picked and got so sick I thought I would never eat strawberries again! it took a few months but strawberries started to look good again……..LOL
I totally agree with your comment about how to raise your children. Too many children are being raised without the work ethic and now the rest of us are having to support them.
Wow, what a cherry harvest! I agree about kids and work…thanks for another great video. 🙂
Great harvest Jay.. Will be interested to see how the schnapps gets made too..
Cheers sir 🙂
You are right about getting kids involved, there is plenty of time for them to play on their ( insert electronic device of your choice here )

No cherry pie or jam? Now THAT will motivate just about anyone to pick some cherries. 😀
Wow fantastic. Cherries are so expensive and you have a wonderful tree to supply you with delicious fruit. Yum!
