Is this system solely for the farm or is the char produced for the market? I am in Florida and am very interested in sustainable farming.
Congrats to Living Web Farms, Bob Wells, and Jon Nilsson for this new facility!
Bob Wells the 10lb Turnip king, (see my presentation slides below), Jon the king of char field trials with Virginia Tech; 8th year, 40 to 50% increase in yield, and fruit quality with just 5% "CharGrow" placed in the growing medium of tomato starts.

how is The continuous feed machine working out so far?
what are the production rates compared to the batch system?
I want make the machine how to make I want can you give a design?
Any body will help to make charcoal from natural wood and get charcoal for Bar B Q.
Plus make syngas
What is the best way to use Biochar? In a home garden situation. Do I need to mix it into the soil? Or do I just spread it on top. How deep if you mix it in. Has the Biochar reacted with the sand like it has in Bolivia in the Terra Preta?
An update would be nice. For both facilities
how long is the burn time for the batch machine and the continuous machine? how many hours or minutes take from raw biomass to pure biochar? how much cost to purchase each of these machines? can either of these machines be made to be mobile (portable) such as on a trailer pull by a truck? look forward to hear from you soon.
The continuous feul is very interesting
do you have a video in operation?
Im very curious to hear how exactly the syn gas that is produced in the continuous feed system is separated from the char and doesn't leak out where the biochar is discharged.
Any information on when ,where this is? Website contacts?
Hi where in Florida is the living web farm located
This is so very inspiring.
