they are very sour when fresh but good for you
Awesome thank you for sharing have a blessed week
Woohoo, that's great….congrats!! 🙂 Patience definitely pays off 🙂
Waahooo, Goji berries! So great! Congrats.
Mine bloomed all Summer but it never set fruit.
I'm not patient, but I'm forgetful, which pretty much amounts to the same thing.
Congratulations! Goji flowers look so delicate and pretty.
Well, better late than never! Nice!
Congratulations! I am growing a few goji berry plants too.
It's always so great when something you've been waiting for finally shows up and starts to grow.
Thanks for sharing!
Scarlett
I am so glad it happened for you,i have yet to get any
Is this from seed or cutting? Seen so many people growing this. I now have to try it. 🙂 Do you think you have enough season left to produce?
Congratulations ! Great stuff. You will have something that the Chinese used for 6000 years. They are super food berries which boosts the immune system. Where did you get the seeds? It's fantastic to see progress. I look forward to viewing your updates.
I know how you feel, Luke! I'm glad your patience is being rewarded. I'm going to have to give goji berries another try.
SO happy for you! Can't wait to see the actual berries. They are so good for us!
Now for some healthy Goji tea
FYI – The leaves are eatable too.
Really you can grow goji berries in the states?
Hi Luke! Finally catching up on some eps. I grew up eating these and they are really easy to grow here, but we never saw any flowers on ours. I think my mom picked the leaves and cut them back too often! She makes soups with the leaves. Would like to tell her to leave plants alone for a while to get berries. So excited for you!!
Update? No berries?
Great job! I've been growing goji for 4 years. I remember my first flowers and fruit! I was as excited as you were. Fun to find people like you. Just wait another 3 years and watch yourself harvest pounds per year from a single plant! This is just the beginning.
Mine are in a pot. Nothing yet, first year from seed. I think I'm going to bring them inside for the winter.
how are your goji berries atm?? Is the plant stll growing in your garden??
Hoping my goji does well! It had a tough start as it had very few roots when I got it and it took about 2 months to start looking healthy. Seems to be doing well now. So, now I am finding out not all goji berries are very palatable. Sure hope mine is a good one! LOL
Hello, great video. I planted my goji in June, and now it's October and it's just produced a flower. Any suggestions as to what I must do? Cut off the flower, or let it on? Thanks in advance.
Thank you for sharing mine is 2 yrs old but hasnt flowered yet despite looking so healthy! I have hope for mine now lol!
Goji plant flowering now. but the flower drop I done google search what I find out we need to pollinate the flower… how do we do that?
I grew from seeds last winter and today its first flower bloomed . It is really less then one year old . Perhaps india is a very hot country that's why it started flowering this early . I grew from dried goji berry seeds .I was so surprised to see my first flower this early .cause I read on net seed grown takes almost three years .
