It’s the end of the season and I put the dahlia to bed. I also have a wander around the allotment and give you a brief tour of the entire site – and get accused of being a potential thief.

Very interesting. Visiting it late in the year gives newbies like me a much better view of how people lay things out. Love to see the handiwork too, solutions to problems, water storage, etc, all done with hand tools due to no power. It's all good. Plus for a man without a shed, as I am, it gives me a man cave fix, lol. The story of you and your Dad building the still standing shed was nice, but sad their was no tale of folklore. Great stuff Adam.
Great video, I always think it is amazing to see the different degrees which people think plots are 'worked'', yours is a nice tidy site. Please dont give upon the videos, there is always work to be done and filmed on the allotment, even if it is just harvesting the Xmas sprouts and keeping an eye on the wildlife. Thanks again.
I think it is interesting to see all of the various plots. I've always wondered why there are so many community plots in your area. We have some but most people grow their gardens at their homes. Just curious if you grow your veg at home as well. I can see where it would be fun to be around like minded people. I always wish I had someone around here who liked to garden.
Thanks Adam for you info on how you handle the Dahlia. Thats a big site.and I enjoyed what I saw. I have subscribed to your channel and I liked what I saw. I invite you to visit my garden videos .If you like what you see please subscribe. Best Wishes, Patrick
Hello great video like the tour of the whole allotment site, would be good to do that again when the weather warms up and you can see some more plants growing, How many plots are there? looks like quite a few
How big is your plot?
I've grown dahlias on my allotment for 2 years. I just cut down the stems. Then cover crowns with a layer of carpet and them some black sheeting. They have grown fine, so why do you dig yours up. Great videos by the way.
