Grate the rind for in a sweet bread
Hello!! I bought some nice looking citrus trees from Lowe’s, and they were fine for about 6 weeks, then they had a massive leaf drop. Now each plant only has a few leaves left. Any advice?
Lovely harvest and trees – they all look so healthy. Question: Do you use grow lights and are there any specific ones you would recommend? I’d rather use one I can plug in and clamp onto my end table. Thank you!
Hey man how do you get more large oranges Versus 50 small grape size ones? Mines be about 5 years fruits every season but always very very small and many many of them I would prefer a couple larger ones and less of them if possible any ideas ?
Wow beautiful
5 years ago how is your lemon tree now?
From sunny southern California, those lemons appeared to be green. Since your tree was so small, I would only pick lemons as you need them they can stay for 3 months on the tree.
I am as excited as this guy. Great video. I'm growing lemons and limes in canada. Lol
Just subbed, and also just started gardening. I want to grow citrus trees indoors to harvest. Any advice for a beginner? I live in Chicago.
Limoncello! I'm Italian.
I plan on having a greenhouse bigger than my home just to grow food.
Hello from Grand Haven and Grand Rapids. Love watching you. Very informative!
Hi there. I’m just finding this great video. Any chance you can do an update video on these citrus plants? How are they doing in 2019? Thanks.
I love this.
No need to harvest until you want to eat them! They can hang on tree for at least 9 months once ripe!
Please i need help does anyone know how to save an avocado tree. This was the last thing my 4 year old started to grow before he passed away and his dog ate it last night. I need any advice possible please.
Hi, could you make an update video on your citrus trees? I just ordered a 3-4 foot calamondin orange and am so excited!
what about a glass greenhouse? start small.
I have a question. Do you use any grow lights on the trees indoor during the winter months?
Another Michigander here. Too funny you had me laughing. I know this is an oldie but it's still a goodie. Thank you for the information. I always wanted to know if you could grow citrus here . I live in a metro Detroit area. And love watching roots and refuge and seen your channel recommended a couple of time's. Definitely subscribed. Maybe you can teach me a few things so on so forth. I love gardening myself and have been for years. I am from The UP so my grandfather showed me the roots to his knowledge. I'm gonna try this citrus tree planting this spring …… Any suggestions??? How to start??
.
Woop!!!
I have 2 citrus trees indoors at about 6'6", and neither has ever showed a hint of fruit. Inherited them and don't know what the seeds were. Is there hope, or should I start again?
I found this video when Googling for "Michigan citrus growing" and have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it and am so glad that you're still active on YouTube seven years later.
Great video! I have 2 key lime trees and 2 olive trees I'm trying to ensure get transitioned inside and stay alive this winter. Do you have a video on that?
The Rhind would be good in espresso!
Thanks Luke.Happy Thanksgiving
