Here is the light I use just in white (a killer good deal right now by the way) : http://amzn.to/2capu9D
I go through the cfl lights I use for my indoor growroom and seed
starting. I also talk and discuss the differences between cfl and LED
in the simplest terms I know. I am no professional so I am just going
by what I know and what I have heard.

the whole vid could have been done in 10 seconds by concluding with 2 sentences. Do you know your IQ?
Thank you thank you thank you!
I'm 70 years old and when I was a kid we played with liquid mercury on a cookie sheet, rolling it from one side to another and around the rim. Can't see as it had any effect.
Please… someone get this guy some marijuana.
Thank you! Very helpful.
Have you used the T5,8,12 LED? They make a replacement for the standard fluorescent ballast. 1/3 less the cost and 2x the lumen. My only question would be: Is the light of a spectrum that is plant usable. (As or more efficient than the fluorescent) for the same purpose as I see in your video? Sure am curious, especially when they are going for less. The lights I saw in particular are a "daylight" spectrum.
Dude have joint relax
Those lights can't be 2 feet wide. Elbow to wrist is about 1 foot. That's how wide they look.
I wonder how much is the cost of electricity to grow a set of lettuce?
I have watched so many of your videos while learning how to grow plants in the winter.

> "Here, in legal land…uhh we're growing vegetables.
3.5 years later and Michigan may be poised to become the 10th state to legalize recreational.
"Cannabis legalization is on the November 6th ballot in Michigan. If the initiative passes, residents over 21 will be allowed to possess up to 2.5 ounces of flower and 15 grams of concentrate. It would also permit adults to grow up to 12 plants. Michigan would be the 10th state to legalize marijuana and the first in the Midwest."
You should make a separate video about how you broke the light. I’m so curious!
Thanks alot
What type of light would you recommend for growing citrus indoor and the lumen output?
Do you have an update video for lights? What would you get today?
You should try to understand Kelvin before you try to educate others on it. It's just a value on the color temperature, you speek of it as if there where different amounts of kelvins being blasted from different lightsources. Also the Kelvin doesn't tell about the spectrum of the light it can be really broad and have the same value as a source that is worthless for growing purposes and only peaks in very narrow spectrums.
Just as a word of caution. T5 bulbs emit significantly extra light the first 10 days some say extra UV too which can be very detrimental and harmful. So that's why some people still work with T8 bulbs or "break in" their T5 bulbs for 10 days before using them for anything.
I'm so confused! lol First I bought red and blue lights but later found out they only have 1500 Kelvins and 1200 lumen per light and every video I've watched said it must be at least 5000 kelvins and at least 2,000 lumens.. Also, each LED contains a spectrum from 380nm to 780nm. So, I purchased T8 LED lights that is 2300 lumen, 6000 kelvins White. I do not know the spectrum of these lights. Then I watched a YouTube video that said, white LEDs are not good for growing seedlings. Both are packed up and ready to be sent back because I am just lost. I don't want to quit before I even get started, so I figured that I'd humbly ask for help… are either of these suitable to grow seedlings and maintain them until I can put them in the ground? I'll mostly be growing for a cut flower garden but will also try my hand with a few veggies, if I do well, I'll grow more next year. Also, if you think one will work, how close to the seedlings would I put them to start? Thanks!
Very helpful video Luke!
Hey man I'm using LEDs for my indoor grow, 5500 lumens 5000 Kelvin…. Purchase them at Walmart for $32.99… they work amazing I also used compact fluorescent bulbs… My indoor grow is absolutely amazing, great video thanks bro ✌️
lol inverse square explains light distance and loss…..double the distance you lose a quarter of the light ..
Lol, those are florescents not compact florescents
What type of lights do I need for tropical fruits?
