Question… i have changed the nutrients in the reservoir, after 8 hours the roots got stained brown i dont this its root rot can be?. should i do something about??? ph 5.8 ppm 800, basil krakty method 1 gallon reservoir. I left the same gap between the roots and level of water it had before water change.
To Calculate Volume of water it's Length x Width x Height and the DEVIDE by 231 and that's your volume of water by gallons

The link for the fertilizer points to: Jacks Classic 4# 5-12-26 Hydroponic. In the video you mentioned the 20-10-20. Did you update the link to a more preferred version, or are you sticking with the 20-10-20 blend?
Hi, great videos. I went to the link for Jack's Professional however it takes me to a fertilizer that is 5-12-26 but for hydroponics. It also states "Should be used in combination with the 15-0-0 Calcium Nitrate in a two-part system". Plz advise, I'm confused….

Recently tested my tap water here in the 89415, wow 8.5 but plants were growing OK. I am lowering Ph… in Summer humidity can go under 10% so indoor grow I use humidifiers, outdoors you can't do much for that.

I noticed you didn't PH the solution. Is this a fertilizer that dosent need to be PH after adding to water? Is it because its organic?

Well Hello again 🙂 My question is based on flavor. I am new to this application; I plan on trying both Kratky and DWC. I've heard many disappointing reviews on the flavor of fruits & veggies grown in hydroponics. What are your thoughts and recommendations to ensure that veggies yield good flavor vs.. bland? Is this directly related to the nutrients? What about using fish-poo as a supplement?
