I always think that setting goals and targets will make me more motivated to complete what I want to do and in today’s video I share the target which I will be attempting this year and why you should do the same. This target will help you plan about saving money, time and increasing yields for this coming growing season.

Great video Huw thanks for sharing.
I am going to have twice veggies than last year. One mishap was an early snow last year. (Calgary, Canada) I am making raised beds and will try Kratky method.
That's good Huw .
nice job huw
So less is more. ๐
Thanks Huw
I like this thinking and seeing as how last year I hardly grew anything I should do good with that goal this year ๐ย
Great tips, Huw! Thanks for the shout out!ย
Thats the plan.ย Great tips
Those are some worthy goals. Looking forward to watching your upcoming videos!
Will try my best. Good tips..
Thanks for the interesting big picture view, Huw! I am doubling the amount of seeds planted in my Winter Sowing this year and using more of my own seeds so i hope to achieve even better results… more produce for less cost! ๐ ~Sheryl
PS does anyone else get nervous using your own saved seeds? Its my first year using my own. I hope they grow!
Hi Huw. I need to save a lot of time, so that I can watch all of your videos.
But I have a question for now. If I am prepared to spend some money, rather than trying to save some, what should I do? My wife and I have allotment plots. Altogether 25 metres by 10 metres.
Here is some background. An example only. We have a lot of raised beds, built with junk wood and much came out of builders' skips. But they get old and keep needing repairs, replacement of sides, etc. and useful old wood is getting hard to find these days , with less building work going on than, say, 5 years ago. So I have been thinking about actually paying for some new wood, which might reduce the need for maintenance. I am retired and have less energy than a few years back.
Today I popped into a builders' merchant, with new timber. Dozens of shelves. All shapes and sizes and thicknesses. Not a price in site… All on their computer. So, I took this obstacle as a large hint, against going for new wood, at present.
