  1. Never had any luck with egg cartons – where I live they must add starch or similar to stick the paper pulp together. Stays solid so seedling roots struggle to break through.

  2. With the toilet paper tubes, they're easier to work with if you flatten them, creating a sharp crease, opening the tube and flattening again, with the first creases lined up. You get square pots instead of round, and can fit more of them in your tray or bin, too.

  3. Thx, for the video of multiple ides…love the tube pots!
Just a quick note for US viewers…
I used egg creates for years with outstanding success. They absorb excess moisture and wick it away, preventing damp off..or once seedlings are established they allow access to the extra moisture when the soil becomes too dry ,helping to prevent wilt. Edit: poke a small hole in the bottom of each egg cell bf filling… excess roots will find their way to the moist cardboard below and are easily detached and planted, giving your crop a boost.
However, now that bio engineered trees are being used ( grown to reduce the tough substance that prolongs the process of turning pulp into paper) the egg cartons mold long bf the seedlings can mature enough to withstand it or to be up potted. Heavy sigh..
Also never allow any paper material to remain above ground, it will wick away ground moisture. Live and Learn.
    Happy gardening!

  4. Thank you for providing instructions for multiple seeding options. The cardboard roll instructions for cutting and interlocking folding are great along with the newspaper rolls without using glue.

  5. I tried it. It not working properly because when you pouring water it damaging and leaking those paper cups. Very simple buy few plastic cups.
