Here’s a backyard kangaroo experience you see occasionally but it’s not always a common thing for most Australians (in contrary to popular belief). The further you get away from the city the more kangaroos you do see and in some places kangaroo numbers can get so high that they eat themselves out of food and can starve particularly in droughts. I’ve seen thousands of kangaroos in the wild but I never get tired of watching and admiring this fantastic animal.

That's awesome to she kangaroo in your yards. Great video.
That was soooo cool to see!
Haha – we don't get many around here often either despite the signs on the road warning of them. There are heaps around elimbah though and they just hang out munching on people's lawns. Nice video mate – I love watching the bound along.
Wow the Kangaroo is huge and so pretty! So nice you got a chance to see and share with us.
You've got that right, Mark! We definitely don't see a kangaroo in the backyard every day! What an amazing creature. Thanks for sharing!
nice boomer they all look so buff, males seem to be more weary than the females.
Are they good eating?
lovely thank you for sharing

How cool is that! You didn't challenge him to a boxing match?? ; )
How wonderful! You can't beat that hop!! That makes me smile. One of my favorite books as a child was about a kangaroo. I don't remember the name of it really – I have tried to find it – but no luck so far – it was something like "A Home for Joey". I think I was really fascinated with an animal that could fit in a pouch that his mother had. Thank you Mark for another Wild Kingdom moment!!
What a beauty Mark! I prefer seeing a roo in my yard than a snake. I just don't like snakes. Hope the roo will come back and hang around longer 🙂
great footage, I love wildlife in the backyard, but where I live there are only some sqirrels and birds. I just found your channel and am happy I did because even though I can`t use your tipps on growing plants or living selfsufficient, it is quiet interesting and worth to subscrip. By the way: not that your tipps might be usefull but I live in the nothern part of Germany with a much cooler temperature than in the sub tropics, but keep them coming I love to learn about different kinds of life planning around the world
He sure was healthy looking. Enjoyed.
Wow amazing ha ha 🙂 we get dear/rabbits and sheep lol randomly wondering you've got the kangaroos 🙂 Brilliant ! 🙂 Greetings from Ireland! 🙂 I love taking some aerial footage and castles! 🙂 Well done on your video! 🙂 Thumbs up from me! 🙂
He looked like Mr. Tumnis from The Lion the Witch and the Warddrobe jumping away. It's so cool to see any large wildlife like that.
In my backyard I see, deer, rabbits, birds, turkeys, geese(they are everywhere), fox, and BUGS
