I like that you can pasteurise them, they'll last a lot longer. I usually just juice before drinking but then I don't have a contraption like either of these.

I appreciate your efforts in teaching people to produce food locally. I agree that steam juicers are way better than mechanical, and that aluminum sucks. But if could only try one of the newer designs, especially the Mehu-Liisa brand (use this spelling when you google it), you'd be blown away by how much easier it is to use. It's actually worth the $150.

I love using the Weck bottles for juices and syrups.
To clean the tube: once you're done juicing, add water to the (top) pot. Bring it to a boil. Then open the clamp to let the water sterilize the tube.
