  1. I understand why you're doing it, but charging for information on how to change the world for he better leaves a bad taste in my mouth. You've slowed your youtube channel output and now charge instead. Sad day, but again, I'd probably do the same thing.

  2. Really awesome video. Please don't get discouraged by someone upset that your trying to EARN a living. He's not your customer. You're working in a noble and honest field. Some the of stupid crap people spout off on the internet because they can do it anonymously is ridiculous. Stay focused on your dream. Don't let the naysayers take up any real estate in your mind. Thank you for sharing what you do and inspiring me!

  3. I suppose nice green lawns look better in the public view of residence, but I think it is much more interesting to see vegetables growing and would personally prefer to see that.
Guess that's what most of us are accustomed to.
Do you ever get gophers? rc

  4. Friends look at me like I am crazy when I rant about how much I hate grass… Sure, it is better than pavement but nobody should ever go hungry with all the space we waste.  I love what you are doing!!!!

  5. thank you Curtis for making this video your gardening enthusiasm gives me energy to go out there and start my urban farming…..even though right now i have seedlings growing out my ears, 🙂 so many plants in such a little space i have but not worried because your accomplishment is my dream and going to get there someday.

  6. I'm an older lady who's knees "ain't what she used to be" so can't ride a bike any more. I saw that tiny truck you have (see at .53 in your vid) and am loving it. What is that and where can I get one?

  7. Very interesting to what you done there. Do you mind if I offering you new feature of agriculture materials that can improving your urban farming's value? Honestly, It will be much pleased me if we can talk more. -Priesta.

  8. Idea: buy a house, farm the lawn, make enough profit to buy another house, rent it to someone at a low rate in exchange for them providing the labor to farm that land (maybe even let them stay there free and pay them a little extra for the work, so they don't have to have another job and can work for you full time), make more profit, repeat and expand the cycle. Eventually you have an entire city working for you to supply all the food that the city needs, plus enough to sell and pay for utilities and luxuries for everyone in the city. High efficiency usage of space.

  9. Hi Curtis I've been watching Dan Kitteridge
Can you explain why you and JM use tons of compost with amendments instead of ensuring the soil has the adequate minerals /elements to produce healthy plants without the need for compost and chicken manure
    Kind regards
    Eddy

  10. Wow! My exact thinking in a video. Send this to your friends who believe in climate change, because their beliefs obligate them to grow something. Gardening and using a clothes line would reduce energy consumption and make each home better prepared for a disaster.

  11. Curtis, thank you for the value you provide! We've reached out to people on FB and have gotten weird responses. We live on 40 acres in the se plains of Colorado and would love someone who resonates with you to chat with us about leasing 1-10 acres for permaculture on our property in exchange for a portion of the harvest. If you know of anyone, we'd love to chat!!
