  1. You said you run your irrigation for about an hour in the evening. I'm very new to this but my dad who had a nursery business for many years has always told me never water in the evening because you will run into problems with fungus. Have you ever seen that happen or do you think because your climate is very arid that it doesn't cause much of a problem? We are on the Delmarva peninsula so In the summer it can be very dry here as well but that's not always the case. Thank you, btw I'm really enjoying your videos and I purchased your book it should arrive tonight 😉

  2. I've been using drip systems for years and I've never used a water filter – simply small mesh screens on the coupling from the water outlet. I'm wondering if the filter is really necessary or do you use it as "insurance"?

  3. Curtis, first off you're a huge inspiration and I have be able to answer many a question on your YouTube page, But on their website they have an option for thin and a heavy wall tape. Which do you use?
    Cheers!

  4. Do you buy the "head" as one unit or do you make it yourself with T couplers and polypipe? Thank you so much Curtis. First time seeing flow through system, it makes so much sense!

  5. Curtis ty for all the great info u share. I've never did any outdoor gardening before, and I ve turned our 60'x 25' plot into a 6 row 30" x 30' beds. Almost looks like I've done this before lol. I've built a 3/4" watering grid around the the whole thing that has (2) 1/2" tees at each bed to run down the bed and tie back into grid. Well before installing drip tape or poly to go down rows I wanted to check/ balance out water flow around grid and noticed that my pressure on last three beds nothing was coming out but flowing really good through first 3. Should I take my 3/4" x 3/4"x1/2" tees down to a 3/4 x3/4×3/8" in order to get more volume / pressure to end beds? Or do you think that with no poly or tape water is just gonna take the easiest path of resistance, so would it not be accurate to balance without the bed runners installed?Again I love what your doin and really appreciate all the knowledge u share. Thank you

  7. So how much water would that be for 1000m2 / per day if you grow greens and vegetables like tomato, carrot, pumpkin and melon. I have no idea thats why i'm asking. I'm looking for land atm so trying to do some calculations.

  8. Thank You for the great video and information. With the way that you set your drip tape up, You also have equal pressure in the entire system. Not strong in part of it and weak in another part of it. equal quantity of water all around. Nice!

  9. You really need to speak to an expert about how to use drip. You are giving advice on a subject you don't appear to really have an knowledge about, and it's disturbing that your video is so highly ranked. Most drip manufacturers provide very detailed information about how to design a system. You are using way more lines of drip than you need to provide the adequate water for your garden. Among other things, this means you are spending more money than you need to, and you are using a ridiculous amount of plastic per square foot of garden space. The "flow through" system you describe has no benefits. A properly designed system has a head on one side and provides adequate pressure for the performance of the drip, without requiring all the extra hose and connectors (plastic).
