Ok, so this little Robin did battle with a worm the other day on the allotment. The outcome is predictable… but the Robin was certainly making a meal of eating the worm. Birdwatching is a lovely past time that the whole family can get involved in.
Here is another video that I think you would enjoy

I love worms…and Robins. What's not to like?…I feel like when you're little and your mum stops the video before the worst bit! Thanks for that
The ending made me chuckle! Jazz
great footage !! we all love the bobbin !!
Very nice!
I don't know if he was early but he definitely got it in the end
I love robins! I've never seen one take on a worm that large though. I can watch my garden robin (cleverly called Robin) from the lawn chair when i'm taking a break. I think he realizes he has to stick with me to get the goodies. He is almost always there now when i'm preparing the soil. I was hoping one would join me, they are so entertaining. He's getting closer and less afraid every day. He's nesting somewhere because he's not eating everything he gathers. I have wrens too, so cute. winged mice, hehe.
Hi Adam, you could have at least given him a hand and lent him a knife. Dave.
Birds need to eat too. Poor worm. Best wishes Bob.
Nature… Nice capture Adam!
