A simple and helpful tip from The Homestead Gardens at Appalachia’s Homestead to help you along the way with many of your growing plants that need to be staked or trellised. I love these! So far, they have been very helpful early in the season and a great yet minimal investment to assist in your gardens!
Enjoy and thanks for watching! xo

Just got a bag of 200 this year! Perfect for my sweet pea teepee! But EVERYTHING needs these clips. Got mine on Amazon too
Oh, yay! Another thing to buy. I won't need bunches of them just yet this year,
but after the move, I'll need lots of 'em! I've been stocking up on stuff I'll need ahead of time so i won't be spending tons after we get there. Thanks for the info., Patara!

Belle looks like she wants to be sure you are near 🙂
Hi Patara! I just discovered you about 5 minutes ago! I LOVE your personality! I am a married mom of three boys. We live in a pretty big city in Washington State in an apartment. My husband and I are dabbling in the idea of homesteading. It is in both of our hearts to become a self sufficient family… I also come from many generations of farmers… I am telling you all of this because I was hoping you could make a video for people like us who love the idea of homesteading, but don't even know where to start. I would love to hear your advice on the steps we should take to becoming a self sufficient family. What kind of home/land do we look for? What kinds of animals do we raise first? Ideas for generating income? Etc etc… Thank you so much for reading!!
She pretended not to be looking at you, when you put the camera on Belle. Stull waiting for that new baby too.
Clever girl. They work great! Blessings, LeXze
Nifty tip! Thanks! Btw, I like your fencing — sturdy n secure.
