Would shade cloth over his nursery greenhouse help keep temps down while still allowing his seedlings to grow vigorously? Or is simply more airflow his answer?

Hi Curtis, I live in the hot humid tropics,and have been trying to grow my own salsa garden; tomatoes,peppers,cilantro,garlic,carrots,onions,and cumin. The only success i have had is with the peppers outdoors,everything else needs to come indoors. Have you worked with greenhouses in the hot tropics ? Heat and humidity,pest and disease are our enemies. My researching on greenhouses and ideas led me to this video. Very cool,thanks for sharing. Let me know if you are interested in doing a tropical project.
I can only imagine how many aphids will be attracted to all those plants 🙁 I'm sure he knows of someone that is a great resource to help him with that issue 🙂 I hope you can get an update of his farm 🙂

This is a very inspiring video. I would love to see more of something like this. A lot of us talked about our dreams but never actually done something about it. I know I'm always afraid of failure but I still took actions in doing some the things that I was afraid of. Some failure and some success but the most important thing I'm wiser today.
This was really cool! Love seeing the next step after the farm, or in this case farm & product combined.

How in the world do you make a living off of the finished product?By the time you take the cost and labor of the crop production, then harvest, and processing, how many jars would you need to sell to monetize this idea?For example, let's say you can sell a pint of product for $5.You're looking at having to sell 8,000 jars to gross 40kBut what if You want to NET 40k per year?Can you even scale what he's doing to produce the amount of jars needed?Am I missing something on the financial viability of this operation?

Hey Curtis, I know this is a long time video. I would love to see some small aquaponics farm that supply restaurant, supermarket and hotel. In those interview I would like to see how the farms look, how they package their goods and see at least one client the produce go to. Thanks very much.

You've got me starting my own garden in North Texas. I really like this guy's approach of controlling his supply chain. Has he planned anything to accommodate growing so many night shades? I didn't see companion planting, but will amendments purely keep his soil healthy? Also, your specialization in microgreens, his specialization in salsa, y'all are picking niche markets and exploiting them.
